Poll: Nevada Voters Favor Recreational Marijuana Legalization

Nevada Marijuana

A poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports and KTNV-TV 13 Action News reveals that Nevada voters support the ballot measure to legalize recreational marijuana.

50 percent of Nevada voters appear to be in favor of Question 2, according to KTNV-TV 13 Action News, while 41 percent oppose it. If Question 2 passes, marijuana would be regulated similarly to alcohol throughout Nevada.

Question 2 would also impose a 15 percent tax on all recreational marijuana sales. Those funds would be distributed to the education sector of the state’s budget for K – 12 education purposes. Republican and senior voters were much of the opposition. Democrats and younger generations support Question 2.

The polling methods used were via online and automated voice options.
