A new ordinance is in effect in Las Vegas. Smoke shops throughout the city are allowed to sell accessories used to consume marijuana, such as pipes, bongs, vaporizers, etc. The new ordinance was approved by the Las Vegas City Council on Wednesday.
The stores will be restricted to keeping the items out of areas that are accessed by anyone under age 21, Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Signage must be posted barring the entrance of anyone under age 21. Those signs must be posted at the entrance of the store.
No one under the age of 21 (legal marijuana use age in Nevada) will be permitted to purchase marijuana consumption devices such as oil dab rigs, water pipes, water bongs or any other materials used for consuming marijuana.
