Nevada Marijuana Industry Transparency Bill Is Headed to Governor

The governor is expected to sign legislation that would make the names of the state’s marijuana businesses public. Nevada has hundreds of marijuana business license holders.

Senate Bill 32 was introduced by the Department of Taxation, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

The names of license applicants would also be made public. The General Assembly voted unanimously to approve the language, but some amendments to the bill’s language were made.

Although it is expected that the governor will sign the bill, it’s unknown when it will happen.
